24-hour support for neurodivergent people in Wales available

Autistic and neurodivergent people in Wales and those supporting autistic and neurodivergent people can now access 24-hour support and advice.

The initiative is part of the Welsh government's effort to improve services and support for neurodivergent people.

The listening line can be accessed by calling 0800 132 737 or texting ‘Help’ to 81066. For more information visit callhelpline.org.uk.


ADASS publish a new roadmap for social care

Millions of people are in distress or pain because they aren't getting the care they need, according to a new report from the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS).

The report, Time to act: a roadmap to reform care and support in Englandsays recent pressures on the NHS have again brought the challenges facing social care to the fore.

"To create a society that truly works for autistic people, the government must deliver social care reform.”

Autistic blogger pledges to help others and raise awareness
