Two disabled activists have started a legal challenge over plans to shut nearly all railway station ticket officers. 

Lots of disabled people have told the BBC Access All podcast that they are worried about losing a central point of contact at stations.

RNIB building first in UK to meet nueordiversity standard

The new London office of the Royal Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is said to be the first building in the UK to fully reach the new neurodiversity standard. 

Some of the features include:

  • Controllable lighing for intensity and colour temperature
  • A passenger lift with voice annunciation, visual displays and tactile signage
  • Acoustics detailing to reduce unwanted noise.
