National Children's Bureau: Young researchers advisors group

The National Children's Bureau are recruiting Young Research Advisors. 

Young Research Advisors are a community that meet regularly to: 

  • Advise on, test and co-design research methods and tools
  • Carry out primary research activities including peer research
  • Interpret and disseminate research findings
  • Explore research priorities and questions

Who can apply?

  • You must be between 11-18, or up to 25 if you are disabled or have a special education need
  • There is no experience required

Research participation: How do autistic adolescents and their parents understand their experiences of school-based social skills groups? 

Imogen Russo, a trainee educational psychologist at UCL, is researching the experiences of autistic 13-21 year olds who have either current or previous involvement in school based social skills groups. 

  • You can take part in this research if you are an autistic young person aged 13-21 who is currently or has previously taken part in a school based social skills group
