AET in person filming day

On Saturday 20th January, 3 members of the AET Autistic Young Experts Panel met to do some filming. 

Since the summer, the AET Autistic Young Experts Panel have been working on what they would like to create for World Autism Acceptance Week, March 2024. Their ideas evolved into the idea of creating 5 short videos on the following topics:

  1. Communication
  2. Sensory Needs
  3. Special Interests
  4. The small things that make a difference
  5. What kindness means to me

These videos will also support 2 lesson plans and a teacher guide (a bitesize and full length version). These resources will be promoted through the AET networks/partners and schools. The videos will be an informative introduction to the different areas of autism and wil be followed by a reflective/discussion activities to help teachers facilitate learnings.
