Civil service internship programme
An exciting four-week work experience opportunity in the Civil Service is being offered to approximately 100 autistic young people.
Placement begins: July 2024
Duration: 4 weeks
Deadline: Friday 1 March 2024, 1:00pm
Salary: £430 per week
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Location: The programme is offered in a range of locations across Great Britain. You will be asked your availability for each location on your application form. Most roles are hybrid and will be a combination of office-based and home working.

Autistic thoughts: Web Design Intern
You will be working closely with our marketing team to create beautiful website icons, banners and have the opportunity to try any marketing tasks you may want to learn. You will also work closely with the rest of the psychology team, working on ideas for articles, new web pages and newsletters.
Placement begins: 1 March 2024
Duration: 3 months
Interviews: Within 3 weeks of application deadline
Deadline: 16 February 2024
Salary: £10.42 per hour
Hours: Flexible (at least ten hours a week)

Ocado Logistics: Warehouse Operative Trainee
You'll be working in a state-of-the-art warehouse preparing orders for customers.

Duration: 6 months

Salary: £11.25 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week, your shifts will be 10am – 2pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Network Rail: Contracts Assistant
You will support the management of the supply chain to achieve the most cost effective, compliant delivery and recycling of material. You will also record and analyse data to facilitate the provision of management information for your business area.
