Leicester: Exhibition showcasing autistic artists extended

An art exhibition showcasing the talents of three local autistic artists has been extended.

The exhibition is at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery and was created to challenge the stigma surrounding people with additional needs and to showcase their artistic skills and abilities.

After their landlord evicted them, a family with an autistic son and daughter who are non verbal, were placed in a bed and breakfast for 4 months due to a shortage of council accomodation.

Nathan became a top schoolboy in disability swimming in Scotland

18 year old Nathan is autistic, has ADHD and dorsal stream dysfunction which means he is also partially sighted. 

Nathan works as a swim coach and teached children of all abilities.
