World Autism Acceptance Week 2024
Small changes, big differences campaign

A few months ago we asked for your help to create our World Autism Acceptance Week 2024 campaign. We’re now excited to share more details about our campaign with you.
World Autism Acceptance Week is an annual event that gives us the opportunity to raise awareness of our work to stand with autistic children and young people and help them realise their ambitions.
This year it is taking place from 2 – 8 April and we’ll be focusing on the small changes that can make a big difference to the lives of autistic children and young people at school, in the workplace and in everyday life. Through our campaign we aim to educate the wider public that a change in attitude toward autism costs nothing.
During World Autism Acceptance Week, we’ll be sharing autistic young people’s views on the small changes that can make a big difference to them. Based on your comments we’ve compiled handy tips and advice for fostering a more inclusive, autism-friendly world.
Ways to get involved in the small changes, big difference campaign
-
Check out our new webpage for more information and resources – including posters for schools and workplaces that can be downloaded and printed to raise awareness. Please share the webpage link with your networks.
-
Please like and reshare posts on our social media channels throughout the week –Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
-
You could also record a video or post you own message on your socials explaining a small change that has made a big difference to your life. Tag Ambitious about Autism in your message and we will like and reshare it.
Thanks again for your help in developing this campaign.
