Online and Local Branches - The National Autistic Society
The National Autistic Society offers volunteer-led online branches that provide autistic individuals with opportunities to connect over shared interests, identities, or experiences. These branches facilitate peer support and social interaction from the comfort of one's home. Current online branches include:
- Arts and Crafts Online Branch: A space for sharing and participating in various art and craft projects.
- Book Club Online Branch: A forum for discussing books, genres, and reading experiences.
- Running Online Branch: A community for autistic runners to connect, share experiences, and find running partners.
- LGBTQ+ Online Branch: A supportive environment for autistic individuals within the LGBTQ+ community to share experiences and resources.
