Employ Autism Civil Service internship programme

An exciting eight week paid employment opportunity in the Civil Service is being offered to approximately 200 autistic young people.
The work you do will vary based on the department and team you are assigned to. You will learn more about this before the start of your placement. It will be challenging project-related work and managers will assign this based on the ability of each intern.
Below are some examples of the types of work previous interns participated in:
- Conducting research
- Providing project support
- Assisting with the creation of policy documents
- Shadowing senior civil servants
- Attending meetings with senior advisors on major issues.
Placement start date: 30 June 2025
Duration: Eight weeks in summer 2025

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £452 per week
Location: The programme is offered in a range of towns and cities across England and Scotland. You will be asked your availability for each location on your application form.
Data and analytics summer internship

This internship is designed to provide you with the experience and skills needed to pursue a career in consultancy. You’ll learn whilst working as part of the data and analytics team through our apprenticeship model. Much of your focus will be on research and analysis, with opportunities to begin developing your communication, presentation, and client-management skills.
Placement start date: Monday 23 June 2025
Interviews: All applicants will be contacted with a progress update within three weeks of the role closing
Duration: 10 weeks

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working.
