Recruitment Open: NSPCC Young People’s Board for Change 2025-2027

Are you aged 13–16 and passionate about making a difference? The NSPCC is looking for 15 young people from across the UK to join their Young People’s Board for Change. This is an exciting opportunity to develop confidence, meet peers from diverse backgrounds, and influence the work of the NSPCC.

No experience is needed as training and support will be provided. Applications are open now and close on 20th January 2025.

A PhD researcher at Birkbeck, is recruiting members for an Autistic Advisory Group. This group will support her research on the experiences of Black, autistic university students in the UK. They are seeking autistic participants aged 18+, with a particular focus on those who are Black or from racially minoritised communities.

Calling Young Philosophers: Enter the THINK Essay Prize 2024

Are you aged 15–18 and passionate about philosophy? The Royal Institute of Philosophy invites you to submit an essay for the 2024 THINK Essay Prize.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your ideas, reach a wide audience, and win a £1,000 prize. The winning essay will be published in THINK, a magazine that brings philosophy to everyone.

Participants Needed for Research on Sleep Quality in Autism

A psychology student at the University of Sussex is conducting research on sleep quality in autistic and neurotypical populations. The study aims to explore sleep-related challenges and strategies for improving well-being.

Participation involves completing an anonymous online survey covering behavior, stress, sleep quality, and bedtime challenges. As a thank-you, participants will be entered into a prize draw to win one £10 voucher or one of two £5 vouchers.
