Neurodiversity in the criminal justice system
User Voice is working with the NHS to understand the experiences of those with neurodiverse conditions in the criminal justice system. We wish to give as many people with neurodiverse conditions as possible a chance to have their say.
We need help to access people who have been in prison and who have a diagnosed neurodiverse condition (or who self-identify as having one). At this stage please let us know if you would like to support this project and we will then share more information on the process.
Please contact Chris, our Research Manager ([email protected]) to be involved

Best for You- NHS project
There is a new NHS young people’s mental health project called Best For You (you can also find us @BestForYouNHS on socials).
We’re working in partnership with YouTube to create videos on a range of topics! One of these topics is autism.
I’m very keen for the voices of autistic young people to be at the forefront of these videos. I’d like to film a group of up to four autistic young people answering myth-busting questions other young people have asked about autism. I’d also like to film the young people talking about what autism is like for them, what they love about it, and how their access needs could be better accommodated to make life easier.
The filming would take place on one day in London in December or January
Payment £150
Please email the participation team if you are interested in taking part in this opportunity
