One Young World Scholarship Program 2023

"One Young World strives to identify the most impactful young leaders from every country in the world." 

 

Each year, they offer 16 fully funded places to the One Young World summit, which is taking place in Belfast this October. The conference will allow you to learn, network and be inspired. If you are a young person wanting to champion social inequality, this scholarship could be for you.

Africa Fashion exhibition at the V&A relaxed viewing 

Thursday 16th February

London - Free

 

This viewing will allow visitors with sensory processing difficulties or mobility impairments and their family members or carers to explore the exhibition in a quieter environment. 

This will be a self guided exhibition and there will be quiet spaces during the event for breaks.

Drinks and light snacks will be available on arrival. Please note, food and drink cannot be taken inside the exhibition.

The Islamic Gallery at The British Museum relaxed viewing

Saturday 1 April 8:00-10:00am - free

 

Explore the galleries and take part in sensory based activites.

This is designed to be more accessible for children and adults who are autistic, learning disabled or have mental health conditions.

It is aimed for 5-15 year olds.

The event will include a creative drop-in workshop led by an 'Autistic ADHDer, Muslim and Pakistani digital artist and neurodivergent advocate'.

Yoga Session for Autistic Girls 15+, Women and Parent/Carers 

 St. Andrew's School, Woking

 

Appeer Yoga Sessions are for autistic girls and women over the age of 15. The sessions are beginner friendly.

Times and Dates:

11.45-12.45 or 2.15-3.15pm
