Considering if you are autistic and going through the diagnosis or identification process (SELF or CLINICAL) can be a long difficult and confusing time and it can be hard to find relevant resources and information. This drop-in group is a safe space to explore, ask questions and meet other women and non-binary people at a similar point in their journey.
Barriers to heath for neurodivergent people -mental health

Supporting Autistic University Students: Policy and Practice

Felicity is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol whose work focuses on the lived experiences of autistic and neurodivergent people. This talk will cover two pieces of research on autism at university. The first reviewed the support universities publicise themselves as offering to autistic university students, and the second presents the results of a training programme aimed at improving that support.

The Psychology of Autism and Burnout

Join Dr Joanne Riordan to learn about the intersection of sensory overload, social exhaustion, and the pressures of masking that can contribute to burnout. Gain a deeper understanding of the physical, emotional, and cognitive toll this condition can take, as well as practical approaches to support autistic individuals during recovery. Whether you are autistic yourself or want to become a better ally to autistic individuals, this talk will help you learn more about a neglected side of autism, broaden your understanding of autism and equip you with practical tools to support yourself and/or others going through autistic burnout.
